NDE – Non Destructive Examination
Synfaring provides a range of NDE methods for protecting our clients’ products and installations.
NDE – Non-Destructive Examination
NDE is used as an element of production or installation inspections in order to ensure that quality requirements are satisfied.
We provide the following NDE services:
UT - Ultrasonic Testing
RT - Radiographic Testing
MT - Magnetic Particle Testing
ET - Eddy Current Testing
PT - Liquid Penetrant Testing
VT - Visual Testing
PMI - Positive Material Identification
Hardness Testing
Pressure Testing or Leak Testing
We perform non-destructive examination in our own workshop or on our clients’ premises.
If the object to be tested is in use, this does not generally pose a problem.
Identifying faults without weakening
NDE involves various methods which are used to identify faults in materials or the welding process, or fatigue failure that has developed over time.
The NDE methods do not affect the material’s properties.
We also provide qualification of welding procedures.
