Periodic inspection of cranes and lifting equipment
Synfaring has competence category S1 and performs periodic inspections of work equipment for onshore operations, as well as ships and offshore.

Requirement for periodic expert inspection
In accordance with Regulations no. 1357, performance of work, there is a requirement for periodic expert inspection of work equipment, such as cranes and lifting equipment, lift trucks, personnel lifts, earthmoving machinery, suspended scaffold, construction site lifts and stages/studio equipment.
We assist every kind of company with expert inspections, including labelling, documentation and certification in accordance with applicable legislation and standards (Machinery Regulations, NORSOK, DNV, ILO, ISO etc.).
Expert inspections of work equipment must be performed:
* Every 12 months
* When the equipment has been out of use for the last 6 months and could represent a risk to life or health when it is brought back into use
* When more frequent inspections are required due to the environment in which the work equipment is placed
* When the work equipment has been subject to significant overload, or after major repairs or modifications.
We are an approved Enterprise of Competence in every inspection category for work equipment.
Inspections of ladders and racks
We perform periodic inspections of ladders and racks in accordance with regulatory requirements and applicable standards for the equipment, and document our findings with photos.
This applies both to expert inspections of studio and stage rigs, and inspections in accordance with the Internal Control Regulations.
In order to ensure the safety of users, periodic inspections are a requirement.
We provide periodic inspections, service agreements and perform repairs.
Full control with Onix
We use Onix, an online database where we register and store all the certificates, certificates of application and technical documents.
This provides immediate access to data, making it easier to comply with regulatory requirements regarding documentation, and avoid using defective equipment.
