Periodic inspection of fall protection equipment
In Regulations 1355 relating to organisation, management and employee participation (Section 15-4), there is a requirement for employers to prepare good routines for the storage, maintenance, checks and replacement of personal protective equipment.
Periodic inspections
Our inspectors are qualified professionals and have many years of experience in inspecting various types of fall protection equipment, and we have workshop facilities with specialist tools and essential spare parts in stock.
User guidelines require all fall protection equipment to be inspected by a ‘competent person’ a minimum of every 12 months.

Inspection of fall protection equipment
Synfaring performs periodic inspections of fall protection equipment on our clients’ premises or in our workshop. You can send us equipment for inspection on an ongoing basis.
We perform periodic inspections of all ‘soft’ fall protection equipment from most manufacturers (harnesses, lines, ropes and accessories such as locks, fall arresters etc.).

Inspection of self-retracting lifelines
We perform inspection and repair on all types of self-retracting lifelines from IKAR and other manufacturers, including rescue and evacuation equipment.
We have parts in store for most IKAR models, and have a fast delivery time on inspections and repairs.
Other services
We install and perform load testing of fall protection anchor points.
Our instructors have many years of experience in courses and training in work at height.
